Track Grok Bot usage & cost on macOS

JP the Cat tracks Grok Bot on your Mac today — official weekly included-usage % from Grok Bot's own opt-in plan-usage fetch — not local token logs, and never in combined dollar totals.

Everything is read from local logs on your Mac — no account, no upload.

How JP the Cat tracks it

Grok Bot is live when the Grok Bot desktop app is installed and you opt in under Settings → Live data. JP reads the sign-in Grok Bot already saved on your Mac, sends only that bearer token to api2.cursor.sh about every five minutes, and shows the official weekly included-usage percentage. No prompts, code, or transcripts leave your Mac. The row stays out of combined dollar totals, widgets, and alerts.

Common questions

Does JP the Cat track Grok Bot?
Yes — Grok Bot is live today. Weekly included % requires the opt-in Grok Bot plan usage toggle; JP sends only Grok Bot's saved sign-in token to api2.cursor.sh and never reads token metering from local chat replicas.
